Pastoral visit of Bishop Tom Williams

The college community was delighted to welcome Bishop Tom Williams to the college campus on Friday 29th September.

The Bishop met with staff and students throughout the day. He was able to celebrate mass for a group of students from across the student body.

A very poignant moment was the blessing of the plague honouring former student Gabrielle Verdin, who passed away last academic year. Gabrielle’s family were able to be present.

Throughout the day Bishop Tom spoke to students about having high aspirations, know your history and strive always to do your very best.

Headteacher, Paul Stirling said “it was a great day, Bishop Tom is a truly inspiring person and we were delighted to welcome him back once again. Thank you once again Bishop Tom for an amazing day”.

Prayer of Thanks

“Oh Father, let us take a moment to say ‘thanks.’ On this day, we live in your spirit, on your planet, and amongst our brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of today. Amen.”
