Confirmation Opportunity

For those in Year 8 who attend Catholic schools, the Archdiocesan Youth Ministry team, Animate, organise a session on Confirmation. Following on from this, young people may register online. The sacrament will be explored in our college community as well.

For those above Year 8 or at other schools, please register directly online. The local coordinator has details about extra sessions. All candidates will be invited to local preparation meetings.

The college has prepared several links to various information about receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

What is Confirmation?

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the second of the three sacraments of Christian initiation.

Confirmation completes Baptism, by which in the laying on of hands and the anointing with Chrism Oil, which first happened at Baptism, we are confirmed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
