Grand Slam Success for College

Archbishop Beck Catholic College are celebrating after a highly successful week of achievements in music.

The College Chamber Choir won the Youth and school Ensembles section of the Southport Music Festival. The College music department has won this section for a record 8 years. Our Brass, Saxophone and Flutes ensembles also took all the top awards at the Music Festival.

Assistant Headteacher, Bruce Hicks said this has been one of the most highly successful months for the music department.

On all fronts the College is certainly enjoying a golden era of success. Headteacher Paul Dickinson also commented on the achievements following a glowing report from a recent visit from OFSTED, adding that Archbishop Beck Catholic College is over subscribed and this is certainly a reflection of the excellent academic environment of Archbishop Beck.
