Congratulations to two amazing sports stars who recently gained National success for their sporting excellence.

Millie

Millie is a striker for Liverpool School Girls’ football team, who won the English Schools’ FA National Finals 2024, Girls U14’s Cup competition.

The game was hosted at Stoke City on Saturday 12th May. Millie scored 2 of the 4 goals that helped them to victory against York, Liverpool winning 4-3.

Millie was also awarded the Player of the Match because of her superb contribution.

Michael

Michael won the School Boys’ Boxing Competition U12’s. Michael is now National Champion, beating his opponent in the Final in the second round.

Michael has been boxing for 2 years and his previous sport was Kickboxing. His ambition is to become World Champion!

Headteacher, Paul Stirling, congratulated the students for their “outstanding success” and praised their “commitment to achieving their very best in their respective sports”, adding “they are certainly flying high in their national achievements.”
