Preparation for Public Speaking Contest

Tuesday 28 May 2024

“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.” H. Jackson Brown Jr

Well done to members of our Public Speaking Society who come in over half term on Tuesday 28th May, to have an intensive training session in preparation for the forth coming Catholic Schools Public Speaking contest being held at the college on July 4th, 2024.

Topics in preparation include:

  • Public transport should be free for everyone.
  • Great Britian is still great.
  • Should parents be held legally responsible for their children’s actions?

The training session was led by Mr Joe Roberts who provided a great deal of advice, insight and motivation to our team. Our students certainly gave of their very best.
