Flag Football Tournament

Friday 7 June 2024

“People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defences or the problems of modern society.” Vince Lombardi

On Friday afternoon, the students participated in the first ever LSSP Flag Football tournament at Tiber Football Academy.

At the halfway way stage, the team were sitting top of the group and dreaming of a place in the Nationals. Their coach commented “that maybe we peaked too early and ended up missing out by a point.” The students can be proud of their performances and had plenty of fun on a sunny Friday afternoon showing teamwork, commitment, and enjoyment.

Players of the tournament for the College, include Quarterback – James Billington, Wide Receiver – Paul Dooley and Running back – Louis Lockwood.
