MEET THE PROFESSIONALS

On Tuesday 11th June our year 10 students were given the opportunity to meet Billy Elder who has had a successful 30-year career in the Royal Navy. Billy presented to the students the different routes into the Royal Navy and the necessary grades for each route with reference to the apprenticeship programme. He presented a real insight into the different career pathways students could take to move into the Royal Navy and the different careers that are available if they choose to join. Billy was able to share his own experiences within the Royal Navy, the students really enjoyed the presentation and found the experience extremely valuable.
