Doing small things in a big way

Over the past 18 months, our PE department has worked hard to try and create opportunities for some of our students who would not ordinarily have the opportunity to represent the college in sport. On Thursday afternoon, our students took on Bank View on the 3G pitch. The motivation wasn’t trophies or medals, it was about smiles and memories that will live within these students’ memories for a lifetime. Special mention goes to our 3 captains: Luke McGowan, Katie McKenna and Corey Fong, who showed outstanding leadership skills. Our next fixture will take place before Christmas, with a number of other schools interested in participating in this event.
