International Scholarship Day

The Geography and MFL Departments recently held an International day for pupils from our partner primary schools as well as our own students.

The theme was South America and the day started off with a Portuguese lesson and Salsa dancing. The canteen provided South American food for the pupils to try which included Nachos, chilli and other traditional dishes.

The pupils then attended the Rainforest Road Show where they had the opportunity to hold a number of animals that are found in the Rainforest including snakes, tarantulas, hissing cockroaches and millipedes. The Creepy Crawly Show was brilliant for the pupils and Steven who led the session provided a really fun, educational experience that we hope to repeat in the near future for more of our primary schools.

A thoroughly enjoyable day.
