A Most Wonderful time of the Year

Archbishop Beck Catholic College brought some magic to Liverpool when we held our Christmas Concert at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall. The sell out concert was enjoyed by all who saw outstanding performances from the Dance Ensembles, Choirs, and Concert Band. Taking part also were, All Saints Catholic primary school, St Francis De Sales Infants school, St Francis De Sales Primary school and Blessed Sacrament Federation school. The compere for the evening was Merseyside’s very own Roger Phillips. The college ensembles have been very busy, not only with the concert at the philharmonic, but also they entertained at the Soroptimist International Christmas luncheon at Childwall Golf club, speaking after the event local President Anne Grimes said “Everybody was delighted and some of our guests from other clubs said it was the best dinner and entertainment they had been to!! The choir were wonderful, thank you”. The College vocal ensemble also performed at the English Speaking Unions Christmas lunch which was held at the Anglian Cathedral, where they received a standing ovation.
