A Very Important Date!

Archbishop Beck Catholic College Year 11 student, Lewis, has just received news that he is being invited to the House of Lords in February to receive a prestigious award as part of his recent success at the English Speaking Unions Grand Final. This award is to be presented to Lewis by HRH Princess Anne, who is also President of the ESU. On being notified of this prestigious event Lewis said, “I am honoured to have been invited and I am looking forward to meeting Princess Anne.” Lewis is preparing for his GCSE exams and would like to go to University to study Veterinary science. He is also a keen musician and has recently gained his grade 5 theory and is working towards grade 5 Tuba. Headteacher, Paul Dickinson commented, “Lewis is an outstanding young ambassador for the College and Merseyside. He represents an outstanding student body at the College and we are very proud of his achievements.”
