Home Thoughts from Abroad

Recently, the Headteacher, Paul Dickinson welcomed two former students back to the college. Chris and Jane Edwards, with their daughter Enya, returned to Liverpool for a holiday from their new home in Perth, Australia. Chris and Jane attended St. Bonaventure’s in the late 1970s before the school was renamed Archbishop Beck in 1983. They really enjoyed their tour of the college and explained to Mr Dickinson where they had all their lessons. Mr Dickinson commented: “It is always special when former students come back to Archbishop Beck but to have students return from the 1970s was extra special. Chris, Jane and their daughter, Enya, were delightful and it was great to reminisce.” The visitors also met Mr Hicks a fellow antipodean. He said “it was lovely to meet former students who had such fond memories of their time here at the college”. Best wishes to Jane, Chris and Enya.
