Concerts! Concerts! And More Concerts!

For one Archbishop Beck Catholic College music student the Christmas season was certainly a busy one. Sixth Form student Rachael auditioned and was accepted into the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir in September. So, not only did Rachael continue to support the College Choir and music department during the festive season, she also had an arduous series of 6 nights of concerts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, which finally concluded with her performance in Handel’s “Messiah” on Saturday 10th January 2015. Rachael said, “It has been an amazing series of concerts. Particularly singing to a full house at the Philharmonic hall the atmosphere was incredible. I believe George Frederick Handel’s ‘Messiah’ to be one of the World’s most beautiful musical compositions and I certainly enjoyed being a part of such a prestigious performance”.
