Year 11 Prom Night

The traditional Year 11 Prom at Aintree Racecourse Valentine Suite was an outstanding success with all students enjoying a superb evening. The young men and young women of Year 11 had really gone all out to impress and they looked absolutely stunning. The Year 11 Prom on Friday 1st July, 2011 was a resounding success. For members of the Class of 2011 it was a very special evening in the lovely setting of Aintree Racecourse’s beautiful facilities. All of them looked amazing: the girls in beautiful dresses and the boys on their smart evening suits. The students had a wonderful evening, thanks to the work of their progress manager Mr Abernethy, his team of teachers and all the other members of staff who helped on the evening. Mr Abernethy said “The evening is a wonderful way to say best wishes and thank you to our Year 11 students who have worked so hard during Key Stage 4 and especially working so hard in their recent GCSE examinations. They all arrived for the Prom in style and looked amazing. I’d also like to say a big ‘thank you’, to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening such a success”. We believe that not only does the College provide an outstanding educational setting but events such as show  the other side of the College, where students come together to enjoy a social event.
