MFL Paris Trip

The Modern Foreign Languages Department recently enjoyed a very successful 4 day trip to Paris. Thirty six students accompanied by four staff completed a full visit to central Paris itself with the students taking in the sites. As the photos illustrate the group enjoyed a windy visit up the Eiffel Tower with many replica towers bought as gifts for families back home. A walk down the iconic Champs Elys e to the Place de La Concorde, site of the guillotine during the French Revolution. The group sailed down the Seine in one of the infamous Bateaux Mouches taking in the famous sites along the river such as Notre Dame, Le Mus e d’Orsay and Les Invalides, final resting place of Napoleon. The group also enjoyed a visit to Montmartre, seeing Sacre Coeur and taking in the artistic atmosphere in this cultural part of Paris. Our final stop in our site seeing tour was a trip on the fastest lift in Europe on Montparnasse Tower which ascends 56 floors in a matter of seconds!! Not for the faint hearted! A visit to Paris is never complete without a trip to Disneyland Paris. The group enjoyed a funfilled day in the park with lots of laughs to be had by all. The students were a credit to their families and the school with many students taking the opportunity to practice their French language skills. Well Done to all.
