Dancing their Way to the Top!

Our College Senior Dance ensemble were delighted to be invited to take part in a special Dance Masterclass recently where they were treated to a world class experience. The Masterclass was given by Darren Suarez.

Darren Suarez is both a performer and choreographer who continues to drive his passion for dance in many elements. Upon achieving a BA Hons Degree at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Darren has gone to achieve great heights in his professional career in both Television and live theatre some of his credits include;

  • Top of the Pops
  • Dancing on Ice

The students were extremely excited to work with Darren as he delivered a lyrical and Voguing workshop.

Head of Performing Arts Sue Foster said, “this is part of our ongoing provision to provide outstanding opportunities for our students who are part of the Scholarship and Academy programme at the College”.
