Yorkshire Sculpture Park Art Trip

Last week 28 of our GCSE and A level Art students had the fantastic opportunity to spend the day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Throughout the day, our students worked alongside the park s in house artists learning about a variety of sculptural artists, exploring the rural park which spreads over 500 acres of woodlands and rolling hills. Students imaginations were captured by the beautiful landscape and enjoyed drawing and photographing what they saw; later in the day translating their experiences into their own large scale sculptural responses. The students are now using this valuable experience to enhance their GCSE and A level coursework in school and we look forward to posting their final pieces of artwork inspired by the park!
