Senior Citizens Christmas Party

Archbishop Beck held its annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party. An afternoon which was enjoyed by all who attended. As the guests arrived they were shown Christmas films to get them in the mood for the festivities to come. Tea and coffee greeted the guests and the buffet soon followed. As part of their studies the Year 12 Health students helped out with the preparation of the buffet and acted as hosts and hostesses, together with a number of year 7 pupils. This was followed by outstanding performances from the Sixth Form singing a couple of songs then the School Scholarship Dancers performed two fabulous routines. The entertainment continued with the highlight of the afternoon – the Bingo. Mr Shanks, again employed his immense talents by telling his wonderful jokes and chatting away with the audience. The senior citizens really appreciated all the student s talents and effort and would like to thank everyone involved with the party for the wonderful afternoon. Particular thanks to our chaplain, Peter, who organised such a lovely occasion.
