Jonjoe Kenny Makes Full Everton Debut

Former Archbishop Beck Catholic College student, Jonjoe Kenny has revealed that making his Everton first-team debut was a “dream come true” for him.

The right-back came on as a substitute in the 3-0 victory over Norwich City after half an hour, replacing the injured Matthew Pennington in the process.

And the defender impressed the Goodison Park faithful were an assured performance that belied his tender age, drawing widespread applause from Blues supporters for a crunching tackle just moments after his introduction.

The full back set up the Blues’ third goal on the afternoon his low cross landing at the feet of Kevin Mirallas at the far post, who swept home the 19-year-old’s centre to complete a resounding win for the managerless Toffees.

And Kenny, who spent time on loan at Oxford United earlier in the season, said that he was delighted to finally show off his talent on the Goodison pitch.
