Year 11 Liverpool Cup Winners 2017

Congratulations to the Year 11 football team who won the Liverpool Schools Trophy at Walton Soccer Centre. In a very close final versus Broadgreen International School, the game ended up scoreless and went into extra time and penalties. Archbishop Beck Catholic College managed to hold their nerve and didn t miss a penalty. Our goalkeeper Mitchell saved the second penalty and Paddy stepped up to score the winning penalty. Well done all the team and good luck in the Merseyside Cup quarter final versus Cardinal Heenan, which will take place after the Easter holidays. The squad:
