School of Rock

The College Chamber Choir and dance scholarship students recently enjoyed a trip to London to see brand new smash hit musical ‘School of Rock.’ The musical is based on the 2004 film with new songs and arrangements written by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. As part of the trip the vocal students were able to take part in a Musical Theatre workshop led by Francesca Fenech, who played Tracy in the 2014 West End tour of ‘Hairspray’ and who is also a well known MD.

The dance students were also able to do a jazz workshop at the prestigious Pineapple Studios. The students and staff had a wonderful time and returned feeling enthused, inspired… and ready to rock!
