Work Inspiration Preparation Day

After the recent visit of Stephen Rotherham MP to observe our Level 3 Business Administration apprentices within their work placements, Stephen Twigg MP for West Derby is visiting the college on the 16th March.

Whilst visiting the college he will get to witness the student receiving information from a range of national and local companies in preparation for their ‘Work Inspiration’ programme 2012. It will involve 180 of our Year 10 pupils.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Business in the Community (BITC) and the day is supported by the following organisations: United Biscuits, Isla Gladstone, Trinity Mirror, LJMU, Michael John Hairdressing, Remploy, Liverpool City Council, Synapse, Royal Mail and Merseytravel. These are just some of the organisations that will make available placements during the week-long experience in June and July 2012.

This is the second year of ‘Work Inspiration’ which has provided real benefits for last year’s students. We hope to build on the success of the 2011 programme and continue to develop exciting, challenging and rewarding work placement opportunities.

Thanks to all our partners for providing excellent experiences for the students of Archbishop Beck Catholic College.
