Merseyside Youth Games Basketball Success

Archbishop Beck CSC c Year 9 basketball team won all four of their games at the Merseyside Youth Games tournament, which showcased the best 12 teams from Merseyside.

In the semi-finals they beat Birkdale 45-14 and in the final, with an outstanding performance, they beat St. Margaret s by 30 points.

It was a fantastic performance by all 10 players involved. The majority of the squad play National League for Liverpool basketball U’14s.

Big men Daniel and Keng were the stars in this tournament with dominating performances. We look forward to next season and hopefully, after lots of hard work, more success.
