Sports Leadership Programme

Students from Archbishop Beck Catholic College where involved in a Youth Sport Trust Initiative Programme, supported by Athlete Mentor Jenna Downing. Jenna works on many programmes to help young people achieve their potential in sport, such as Sky Sports Living for Sport, Matalan Your Activity, PE Change Teams, Young Ambassadors, Girls Active, and many more. The students were involved in a variety of leadership and SEND workshops. Chloe Sutton, one of our inspired leaders, was nominated to share her experience on how the “Sports Leadership Programme” has helped her gain confidence and self-belief. She said “working with children of all ages and abilities, has given me an insight into a possible future career.” Well done to all the Sports Leaders. Keep up the hard work!
