Outstanding Basketball Team!

“Remember that basketball is a game of habits. If you make the other guy deviate from his habits, you’ve got him.” Bill Russell

The Year 9 Basketball team form Archbishop Beck had an amazing set of confident wins at a recent tournament, which showcased the best 12 teams from Merseyside.

They beat Birkdale 45-14 in the semi-finals and comfortably won by 30 points in the finals against St Margaret’s CE High School.

It was a fantastic job by all 10 players involved who have been coached since Year 7 by Academy player Luke Dalton, the majority of the squad also play National League for Liverpool basketball U’14s.

Big men Daniel Davis and Keng Kim really dominated and had outstanding performances.
