Music Visitors to the College

This week saw an amazing number of music visitors to the College. On Monday evening a combined concert took place with the Queens University Orchestra from Belfast.

Deputy Headteacher of the College, Mr Paul Stirling said at the end of the concert “this was an amazing concert performed by an amazing array of musicians”.

Later in the week we had a visit from London based composer Mr John Holland who came to the college to work with members of our GCSE class.

We were also delighted that Mr Holland has agreed to compose a special work for the college’s senior wind ensemble which will be performed on their coming tour to Ypres, Belgium in commemoration of the end of World War 1.
