Schools Advent Service

Students from year 7 accompanied by Mr Postlethwaite, Ms Fegan and Chaplain Peter, attended the annual Schools Advent Service held at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. The Advent Service, held for students and teachers from diocesan schools, focussed on the Christmas story, told by students from the Academy of St Francis of Assisi. Our students were reminded of the true meaning behind the Christmas story and were able to live out the message of caring and sharing by taking with them to the service, unwrapped toys that will be distributed on Christmas morning to those youngsters who may have nothing this Christmas.
