A Christmas Celebration

The proverb “Christmas comes but once a year” refers to the spirit of generosity and goodwill that characterizes the Christmas season. The implication of the “proverb” is that people should spend this special time of year focusing more on giving rather than receiving.

In this spirit, the college community gathered to celebrate Christmas in amazing style, panache and outstanding performances.

Special guests for the evening were the young choristers from Longmoor Primary School who not only performed by themselves but combined with our senior choir to sing the medival carol “Gaudete”.

One parent wrote to the college saying:

“Would you be so kind and to pass this on to the relevant people.
I just wanted to say the Christmas Celebrations last night was fantastic.
The performances, dedication and the way everyone conducted themselves is a credit to the school and the teachers.
The Mary Poppins piece was absolutely fantastic.
Thanks again”
