Top Studio Experience

Industry experience and preparation for music examinations are key aspects of the work that Senior Music students have recently experienced at Liverpool Community Arts College The College has an ongoing commitment to work with the Music Department at Beck Director of Music Bruce Hicks says:

“Working with the College brings a new experience and ideas to our students while we can offer their students an opportunity to record soloists through to the College Concert Band and all done in a highly professional environment with state of the art facilities.”

Alan Watson from the Community College said that “When the opportunity arose for the Foundation Degree students at LCC to record the musicians from Archbishop Beck I felt this would be really good to offer the students diversity in their recording projects. However when we met the students from Beck both the students and I were extremely impressed with the high level of musicianship and the professional manner in which they conduct themselves (well they don’t actually conduct themselves, Mr Hicks does that)!”
