‘Flash Mob’ Proved Anyone Can Dance
A flashmob is when dancers take the streets and people by surprise. Music starts blaring out loud all of a sudden and people start dancing to the tune of the songs. More than 200 young dancers joined in to the amusement of the bystanders.
People were taking photos and shooting videos as this was the first time that the students from the College and partner primary schools took part in a flash mob. It was a great success.
Director of Dance at the College Sue Hagan and Gemma Moore were entrusted to put together over 200 dancers to perform the Liverpool 1 Spectacular Show. This Flash Mob was filmed by the Liverpool Media Company, was organised by Archbishop Beck to be shown as part of the Last Night of the Proms concert to be held on July 9th at the Philharmonic Hall Liverpool.
Headteacher Paul Dickinson, who took part in the Flash Mob, said “it was really outstanding, a lot of fun and thanked all students and staff who took part.”
