Dante has been a remarkable member of the elite Archbishop Beck basketball academy for ywo years and has now been awarded a highly prized award.

“His skill development over the last two years has been outstanding, his commitment and dedication have been second to none”, said Coach Delme Herriman, adding “He developed his game and physique so much that he is the first player in our programs history to receive a full athletic scholarship to America”.

He signed a two-year letter of intent to play at Laramie County Community College in Wyoming, with hopes that it will lead to a further scholarship at a Division 1 NCAA school.

Dante was also part of the Liverpool Men’s Championship winning team that won 23-0.

Headteacher of the college Paul Dickinson commented, “this is a marvellous opportunity for a wonderful, talented and dedicated student, but above all else Dante has shown himself to be a true gentleman and a outstanding example to our young students in all areas of college life, very best wishes for the years ahead”.
