Internet Safety Presentations

“The Internet knows no national borders.” Alan Dershowitz

The college was delighted to welcome Safen3t. This organisation gave some very thought provoking presentations to our students on Internet Safety. The key learning objective was to educate them about the risks associated with online space.

The presentation looked at issues surrounding Child Exploration to the areas of Propaganda extremism and Online radicalisation.

Thank you to Omega Communications for there excellent delivery, professionalism and impact on our students.

Paul Stirling, Deputy Headteacher said, “ the welfare of our students is always a major focus of our work here at the college. The internet is a major element in all our lives and it is important for our young students to understand the good that it can do and does, to the risks it can open up.”
