Our Day Out – University Ambassadors

“Knowledge is recognizing what you know and what you don’t.” Confucius

Year 9 students recently visited to the campus of The University of Liverpool.

The aim of the day was to give our students an opportunity to evaluate the benefits of moving forward into Higher Education.

They experienced a series of undergraduate activities which highlighted how a degree can enhance your future career prospects. Students enjoyed a campus tour and were able to talk to current undergraduates about life at university.

With the Year 9 Options process about to begin, the day gave our students time to think about their future choices and particularly ,they were given, time to realise that hard work at school now can lead to brighter prospects in the years to come.
