Our Journey Through Lent

“It is not just about giving up our favourite food but it’s about going further and giving up things like hatred and unforgivingness.” Amanda Jobs

On Friday 26th March the college community came together for a A Lenten Service.

The theme of our service was “FASTING And FEASTING”

Senior college ambassadors Joseph Roberts and Halle Elfick led our community in this reflective and uplifting and prayerful time of quiet reflection.

Headteacher Paul Dickinson said, “Lent is a time of great reflection in our Christian lives and our service today was able to give us some time to reflect on this special part of the liturgical year”.

Finally, a blessed and joyful Easter to you all.

Dear God, Thank You that You are loving and forgiving.
Help us to love people in the same way as You have loved us.
Help us do generous things for others because we love You.
Amen.
