Sixth Form – Welcome from Our Headteacher

Archbishop Beck Catholic College is a high achieving school and we are proud of the performance of our students at both Key Stages 4 and 5. You can be confident that if you join the Sixth Form at Archbishop Beck Catholic College you will be successful. This year we have been pleased to welcome over 50 students from other schools who have joined the College.

Our college campus has outstanding sports, performance, technology and media suites as well as a designated Sixth Form area.

Recent successes in our Sixth Form include:

  • 99% pass rate at A Level (97% AS) and 100% at BTEC National
  • The introduction of our elite specialist academies
  • A significant increase in student numbers (300 in the Sixth Form)
  • The introduction of new courses including Spanish, Geography, French, Applied Science and Media
  • Several students receiving offers from prestigious universities across the country
  • Over 70 students furthered their education at university last year

The reputation of our Sixth Form has continued to grow across the city and, as stated, there are now over 300 students in our Sixth Form. We will provide them all with a personalised pathway that will develop their talents and prepare them for university and life after school.

These achievements are only possible due to the effort put in by teaching and support staff, parents and of course the endeavour of our students who have worked tirelessly to be successful. We look forward to seeing you in our Sixth Form.

Thank you

Yours sincerely

Paul Stirling
