Making a difference! – From Liverpool to Fiji
“Volunteering is at the very core of being a HUMAN. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help.” Heather French Henry
The college was delighted to learn of the voluntary work and adventures of former alumni Erin Brown who spent a month working in a nursery in Fiji.
Fiji is located in the Pacific Ocean in what is referred to as Australasia.
Erin had the unique opportunity to work alongside the local people whilst experiencing an unfiltered look into their daily lives and culture.
Erin commented that she was able to see Fiji through the eyes of the local people and lived at the heart of a Fijian village making lifelong friendships and lifelong memories”.
Headteacher, Paul Dickinson said Erin was an “outstanding member of the college community” and praised her for volunteering to work alongside the Fijian people.
