Introducing Our Senior College Ambassador Deputy Head Boy: Joel Vinu

What Primary school did you attend?

I attended St Philomena Catholic Primary school.

How did you feel when you received the news that you were to be the new Deputy Head Girl?

I was honoured when I found out I was deputy head boy, it gave me a lot of happiness when the school placed me with this responsibility and I look forward to doing my job to the best of my ability.

What are you hoping to do in the future?

I am naturally a very sociable and confident person who loves to embrace new challenges, as well as this I believe I would be able to deal well under pressure.

I believe it is important to have a Head / Deputy Boy and Girl, as they would be able to set a good example to the rest of the students in the school. Also in situations were people would have to represent the school they would be great candidates. I have been able to excel in my education thanks to the great teaching environment provided by Archbishop Beck. We have great facilities and dedicated staff, as long as you put in additional work at home you will do well.
