Year 9 Engineering Workshop

“The application of science and mathematics by which the properties of matter and the sources of energy in nature are made useful to people.” Merriam (Webster Dictionary).

University of Liverpool Student Advocate, Alex Hill, gave Year 9 Most Able students the opportunity to find out exactly what a career in Engineering would involve.

After speaking to students about the excellent opportunities available within the industry, he gave them an opportunity to make their own Tumblewings! This involved getting paper to glide on physical waves of air.
