Musical Opportunity for Students

A summer Music school program at the prestigious Purcell School in Hertfordshire will be filling the days for a group of students from Archbishop Beck Catholic College with music, composing and creative music making. Three students from the College have been selected to take part in this very prestigious Summer School, from 16th – 22nd August 2009.

The three students selected are Helen, Beth, and Lee.

Bruce Hicks Assistant Headteacher at the College said “it takes talent to be admitted to the summer school at the Purcell School of Music in Hertfordshire. The students are among the many outstanding musicians the College has produced and they will be working with the top composers from Britain as well as many other talented young people.”
