Headteachers Challenge Award 2021-22

Recently, we celebrated the work of a fabulous group of Year 7 students who successfully completed the Headteachers Challenge Award 2021-22.

The objective of the award is to encourage independence, resilience, motivation and time management in the creation of a project of the students own choosing. Students are asked to produce a 1000-word project on a theme that interests them.

We received some outstanding projects on a wide range of topics such as fashion, basketball, the island of Sicily, the village of Eyam and Cystic Fibrosis. It is fair to say that we were overwhelmed by the high quality of work produced which was acknowledged by the staff who enjoyed celebrating this achievement with them during our awards ceremony.

A wonderful set of students who should be very proud of themselves! Well done to all!
