A Spine-Chilling Journey
On Friday 16th September Archbishop Beck’s years 10 and 11 GCSE Drama students set off on a spine-chilling journey to Blackpool to engage in a ghostly experience. On arrival at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre, the students were fascinated by the Grade II* listed Victorian building designed by architect Frank Matcham opening in 1894.
The play itself was a terrifying and thrilling tale that delivered multiple ghost stories like none other. With objects moving on the stage by themselves and lights flickering in the audience the students were jumping and cowering in their seats, an unforgettable experience watching ‘When Darkness Falls.’
