Learning to Save Lives
Congratulations to our Post 16 Students who have successfully completed their Adult and Child First Aid Training Course. The students had to undertake a variety of Emergency Life Skills such as:
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR
- Recovery Position
- Use of AED ( Defibrillator)
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Cuts, grazes, and bruises
- Minor burns and scalds
