Walking on Sunshine
Well done to ten of our Year 7 students who participated in supporting one of our former students John May, in his challenge walking from John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise awareness and funds to support the Weapons Down Gloves Up programme.
John May and Tim Edwards arrived in Liverpool on Friday and contacted Mrs Mulhaney to see if Archbishop Beck Catholic College would support him in walking 3 miles from Liverpool Pier Head to Goodison Park.
On Wednesday 15th March students, Mrs Noel-Mulhaney, John May and Tim Edwards walked the distance to which we all fully enjoyed the experience and grateful for being able to support John and Tim on their journey.
