The World of Work – Performing Arts Style

“Do something today that your future self will thank you for.” Sean Patrick Flanery

Year 9 and 10 Performing Arts students attended a Career’s morning at the Everyman Theatre on Wednesday 23rd May. The students had a wonderful morning learning about the different career’s pathways in the theatre industry. The students experienced a tour backstage looking at the technical side of the theatre, they met with the costume designer and the took part in a practical workshop in stage make up. They also had the opportunity to ask a panel of industry professionals questions on their roles and responsibilities within the theatre.

The students had an amazing, interesting and motivating experience. The knowledge gained will allow this group of students to have a deeper insight into working in the Performing Arts industry.
