Year 10 / 12 / 13 Health and Social care students had a lovely visit from Medical Mavericks. Our students got the opportunity to be part of a workshop that brought a real-life hospital to the school. We all had a great time, and the students really enjoyed the session. All students loved the ‘hands on’ nature of the activities, taking blood samples, keyhole surgery, ECG recording and using the ultrasound machine. Medical Mavericks have inspired many of our students to consider a career within the medical field through the good career’s information received and the enthusiastic delivery.
