Former Student Chloe Murphy Shines in the USA
Chloe Murphy who left Archbishop Beck Catholic College in 2011 is making fabulous progress in her tennis career. Chloe originally went to Texas, USA to develop her tennis skills and study through a scholarship programme. This year she has moved from Texas to the State College of Florida. She recently won the national singles title at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in Mobile, Alabama. She is the first student in the history of the State College of Florida to accomplish this feat. Chloe was also the national runner-up in the women’s doubles with her partner. In addition to these titles, Chloe was also the recipient of the James O’Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Award for the 2012 ITA National tournament.
