Art Trip to Glass Artist
Archbishop Beck students had a great day on Monday 11th November at the studio of Paul Kelly. The students really enjoyed the vocational setting and the opportunity to work with a new material.
Paul said “The students were an absolute credit to the school; Well behaved, enthusiastic and diligent. I was very proud of how they got stuck into the task with skill and avidity.”
Paul also commented several times on how well behaved, polite and co-operative the group were, “Not only has this project provided the students with an insight into a new avenue of art and design but it also allowed me to have a go at a media I’ve not used before.”
One student said, “I believe Mr Kelly is bringing our fired glass to the school, so we’re all eagerly awaiting their arrival!”
