Llandudno Trip
In July a group of year 7 students went on the Learning Support Department’s annual trip to Llandudno, to enjoy a good old fashioned day at the seaside; a reward their hard work and progress in the literacy Intervention group. As usual the sun shone and the youngsters enjoyed walking on the pier; playing in the Penny Arcades; tobogganing; eating ice-cream and chasing seagulls. Student Josh said, “This is the best day out I have ever been on in my life! Can we stay?”
This year there was the added attraction of meeting the man behind the famous Llandudno Punch and Judy puppets and an opportunity to try a little puppetry of their own. “That’s the way to do it!”
