We are gathered here today…

The Archbishop Beck Catholic College Choir was invited to sing at the wedding of Aimee Sweeney and Taran Harris at St Anthony of Padua’s Church, Mossley Hill.

Aimee is sister of Sean, a member of the College music community and Mrs Sweeney, Aimee’s mother, is a member of the Governing body of the College, so it was an extra-special occasion and a great privilege to be involved.

The College Choir sang the Andrea Bocelli famous song “The Prayer” during the signing of the register. Also singing, For the Beauty of the Earth, by John Rutter.

Mrs Newton prepared and conducted the choir, speaking after the event Mrs Newton, said “they sang with great confidence, clarity and tunefulness and everyone was very proud of them”.

We all wish Taran and Amelia every happiness in their future lives together.
