The winner is…..!

Congratulations to Jessica from Year 7 who won the Archdiocese of Liverpool Catholic Schools’ Public Speaking Contest held recently at the College.
The Judges for the event were:
- Geraldine Poole, (Soroptimist International Liverpool)
- Paul Holleley, (English Speaking Union)
- Paul Greenall (Liverpool Secondary Schools’ Partnership).
The overall aim of the contest was to instil presentation and communications skills in young students.
Jessica won a trophy which is retained by the winning school for a year and also a prize of 25.
Chair of the judging panel, Paul Holleley, said “Jessica’s speech was really outstanding, well delivered and she totally engaged with her chosen topic”.
